Soad Hassinille Ameen passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020, at the age of 95.

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Mrs. Ameen lived in Lubbock, Texas, from 1945–2013 and resided in Dallas, Texas, from 2013 until her passing. Her husband, Earnest Ameen, preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include four children: Cynthia Ameen Grubb and husband Dennis; Linda Ameen; Larry Ameen and wife Cindy; and Rusty Ameen and wife Jan. Grandchildren include Darren Grubb and wife Lindsay; Danielle Shroyer and husband Dan; Monica MeGown and husband Jeff; Kimberly Lee and husband Clay; Anthony Ameen and wife Stephanie; Aaron Ameen; Annie Costner and husband Danny; Lily Costner; and Joe Costner. Great-grandchildren include Cole and Tiller Grubb; Mia and Grant Shroyer; Noah and Myla MeGown; Olivia, Elijah, and James Lee; Vivian and Vance Ameen; Madelyn and Laycie Michell; and Vincent and Veda Cox.

A private burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park on Thursday, May 28, under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas.
