Thomas Judge Boone, Jr. or “Jay” to his family and friends, celebrated his resurrection day on Feb. 4, 2021. Born on June 24, 1944, in Birmingham, AL, Jay loved the Lord and served Him well.

Following his graduation from Vanderbilt University, the University of Texas Law School, and a successful legal career, Jay and his wife, Susan, served the Lord as missionaries in China for over 20 years. While there, he taught law at several universities and enjoyed relationships with many Chinese students and teachers as they became followers of Jesus.

His enjoyments in this life were studying God’s Word, supporting his family, baseball, jazz, blues, dancing, travel, and giving to others.

Jay is survived by his wife of 57 years, Susan; son Sam and his wife Joy; daughter Sarah; and granddaughter Carrie.
